Jesus Christ: Our Savior

Jesus Christ is not merely the central figure of Christianity — He is the living Son of God, the Savior of the world, and the only hope for fallen mankind. Born in humble circumstances in Bethlehem, He stepped out of heaven and into our broken world, not to be served, but to serve and to give His life a ransom for many.

Throughout His earthly ministry, our Lord walked among the weary, the wounded, and the wandering. He touched the leper no one else would touch. He spoke peace to the storm. He fed the hungry multitudes and healed the sick with a word. But more than the miracles, He preached repentance and the Kingdom of God. He called sinners to turn from their ways and place their faith in Him. He taught us to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind — and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

The heart of our faith is the cross. Jesus Christ willingly laid down His life at Calvary, bearing our sin in His own body. He was not a victim — He was our substitute. The spotless Lamb of God shed His blood so that we might be forgiven. And on the third day, just as He promised, He rose from the grave. The tomb is empty. Death was defeated. Sin lost its power. Because He lives, we who trust in Him have eternal life.

Today, we do not follow a memory — we follow a risen Savior. We proclaim Him as Lord. We worship Him as King. And we seek, by His grace, to walk in obedience, love, humility, and service until the day we see Him face to face.

That is the Gospel. That is our hope. And that is the good news that still transforms lives today.
